Birchbox: March 2014
I received my March Birchbox the first week of the month, which was a great surprise. It was a little earlier than my two previous boxes. I have been a bit too busy to update and share this month’s good with you guys. I loved 3 out of the 5 products in this month’s box. I felt one of the samples was a rip off, but hopefully it will be worth it. I really should start reviewing some of these products after I post them to you because I have been able to try some (not yet all) of them. There are definitely some products that I have gone on to buy in full size. For now, I will keep it this way to give you guys an idea of What’s In A Box anyway! I seem to get a lot of love from my email followers and FB Likers with my Birchbox Updates, so I will definitely keep them coming. What would you like me to add to my monthly Birchbox update? I will write a review soon to those who have requested them. I’ve got three month’s worth of products to either love or hate and I will be sure to share my thoughts with you all! Thanks for stopping by!
MARCH 2014 BIRCHBOX
BEAUTY PROTECTOR: This spray protects your hair color and also protects your hair from heat damage. It also adds silkiness to your mane. I have been receiving hair products with all my boxes, but have been very hesitant to try new products on my hair. I need to make sure that it reduces volume and not ADD volume to my hair. Many products don’t feature that, but we will see!
POP BEAUTY: I have actually already used this product since receiving my box and I love it. The lip brush is very tight and you can line your lips and then color it in with one tool. It does last forever and resists smudging or fading. This is an important factor for me, since I am a coffee drinker. There is nothing worse that having lipstick stains on your cup of coffee at work. I may actually end up buying this.
AIR REPAIR: This salve repairs dry, cracked skin anywhere on your body. When I took the qui, they must have realized that I love lotions and hate dry, rough skin. Here’s another sample size that I can add to my collection.
GILCHRIST & SOAMES: I am pretty sure that this is a hotel brand. I’ve heard of it before. It’s another fast absorbing hydrator with a light scent. I tend to like sticky products that almost feel like you are coated in oils and jelly, so this may not be much to my liking. I’ll add it on to my purse and travel collection though!
STRIVECTIN: A full size bottle of this sucker is $99. The sample size that came in my box was so small, that it better feel like diamonds when I apply it. It’s a retinol based formula that fights wrinkles, evens skin tone and protects from UV rays. It is said that it is best used 15 minutes before sun exposure. I’ll have to use this sample size wisely.
I can’t wait for my next box! If you decide you want to join the Birchbox Community, click the link below so I get bonus points for referring you! Thanks!
